Each year, early in the Autumn term, parents and carers of children in the infants and juniors are given the opportunity to come into school to meet the teachers and the support staff who will be working with their children. Not all the staff members are able to be at the Meet the Teacher meetings, for example each class is taught by a different teacher once a week to enable each class teacher to have their PPA time (Planning, Preparation and Assessment). Please ask if you are unsure about who your child's PPA teacher is, or when they teach your child.
Meet the Teacher Booklets: Key information is given out in these Meet the Teacher meetings, and is reproduced here for those who are unable to attend or who would like a reminder. There is a separate booklet for each year group and, whilst they are broadly similar, there are important differences between year groups and each should be read carefully in order to get the full picture of school life at each stage.
